10 New FujiFilm Digicams

February 1st, 2010 – FujiFilm USA unveiled 10 of its newest digital cameras. These gadgets come in different types, from durable to rugged to slender and stylish –FujiFilm’s compact digicam line has it all.

FinePix XP10 is the first release for the XP series and it is water resistant and freezeproof making it the best FujiFilm camera for those who love to take adventure trips. Its 2.7 inch LCD screen is anti-reflective. With an internal zoom lens, this camera is rather durable because it can withstand shock without hurting the lens in any way. Aside from that it is also dust resistant. Its chassis is made out of metal and stainless steel and it is HD video capable.

Fujifilm to release first camera with touchscreen shooting

It was announced on the Fujifilm Japan web site (in Japanese) that the Fujifilm Finepix Z300 offers users the ability to not only focus the image using the touchscreen, but to shoot the image as well. It has 10MP, a 3.0″ touch-sensitive LCD, and 5x optical zoom and will be offered in Glossy Black, White Gold, Pink, and Purple casings. The Japanese press release is greatly pushing the function that allows the user to focus on the subject and take a photo simply by touching the screen — in other words, without having to press the shutter release button. The Z300 is set to be released on 20th June in Japan; however, there are currently no plans to release the Z300 outside of Japan.
